CI Excelsior contains unique COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) reduction microorganisms for municipal wastewater treatment plants. In addition to degrading proteins, lipids and carbohydrates found in domestic waste streams. It targets surfactants, hydrocarbons, and fats, oils and grease (FOG), as well as a variety of other organics found in industrial waste streams.
